Vernacular

Vernacular in relation to architecture refers to buildings, structures and materials unique to a place. Towns, cities and villages across the world each have their own unique style of 'vernacular' depending on need, materials and geography.

Liz Kuball's project on California Vernacular features some fantastic observations of light, colour, shape, texture and space.
